Our Community

Community Outreach and Involvement

Cross of Glory is active in our Mounds View neighborhood in various ways. We work with Pinewood Elementary to provide school supplies, backpacks, and winter clothing through various drives at our church. Cross of Glory also works with Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, through donations, volunteering to make meals, and volunteering at food drives at our local grocery stores.

We also work through various national and international missions to help those in need and to share the Good News of Jesus. Our Sunday School has worked with Heifer International to raise money to buy livestock for families in developing countries, enabling them to start their own businesses and means of support.

Dresses made from pillow cases for little girls in Africa. Quilts stitched literally with prayer and given to the lonely and afraid. Stuffed animals that have been saturated in Sunday prayers and given to those in need. Food to the hungry. Habitat for Humanity. If you want to put your faith into action – we’ve got a place for you!

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
